A first meeting of the coordinators of relevant observatories addressing policies and research in the water, food and energy themes will be conveyed in Beirut in August or September 2013 to discuss ways of collaboration under the prospect of building a common frame of monitoring objectives, indicators and standards. A regional standardized shared approach will help to promote more reliable foresight modelling to support sustainable policy development.
