Objectives:
The work package aims at fostering the enabling environment to enhance institutional and financial synergies for regional research and innovation (both research cooperation and capacity building). The WP will also stimulate and support concrete trilateral dialogue actions EU-MS-MPCs in selected societal challenges in view of developing joint funding - programme level cooperation in the frame of Horizon 2020.
Description of work and role of partners:
The work package aims at identifying replications, redundancies and fragmentation, and developing creative ways for coordinated programming in relation to the selected societal challenges. This will be done through:
- Supporting and stimulating trilateral dialogue and meetings EU-MS-MPCs
- Consolidating ERANET type of programme level cooperation among EU-MS-MPCs
- Creating trilateral (EU, MS, MPCs) financial opportunities to support existing demonstration actions (example: clusters of WP5)
- Alignment of Horizon-2020 priorities with needs for International Cooperation
