On the occasion of World Toilet Day on 19th November, the Permanent Mission of Spain to the United Nations and the Water for Life Decade’s Office launched today in New York a monograph on "Water cooperation". The monograph "Water cooperation", produced in collaboration with the World Council of Civil Engineers and Aquae Foundation, summarizes United Nations contributions and key experiences on water cooperation.

As capacity-building support to its Partner organizations, the Global Water Partnership (GWP), together with the University of Dundee, will offer scholarships for 30 participants to undertake a module in International Water Law.
An Euro-Mediterranean inter-institutional and stakeholders workshop is organised by ERANETMED in Athens on 27 February 2014, during the Greek Presidency, hosted by the General Secretariat for Research & Technology. More than 30 institutions are expected to participate in the event, including funding agencies and stakeholders (universities, research centres, associations and other governmental institutions) from the EU and Mediterranean countries.
The 2nd February each year is World Wetlands Day, the Convention's annual campaign day.

This publication brings to light the initial version of the Forum’s framework which will serve as guiding principles for the work leading all the way to 2015 and beyond. The ENPI has published a really global list of Regional Projects, all them related to the Mediterranean region. The list enumerates all the EU-MPC cooperation programmes (except FP7).
A brochure highlighting the key priorities of regional cooperation in the European Neighbourhood, which outlines policy areas and priority actions in both the Eastern and Southern Neighbourhoods, has been published by the ENPI. Please find also the whole list of their publications.
A workshop on EU- Palestinian cooperation in research and innovation took place in Ramallah on 29 May 2013. The workshop was organized jointly by DG Research and Innovation, the European External Action Service and the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education on the eve of the EU-Palestinian Sub-committee on Research, Innovation, Info Society, Audiovisual and Media, Education and Culture.
