An Euro-Mediterranean inter-institutional and stakeholders workshop is organised by ERANETMED in Athens on 27 February 2014, during the Greek Presidency, hosted by the General Secretariat for Research & Technology. More than 30 institutions are expected to participate in the event, including funding agencies and stakeholders (universities, research centres, associations and other governmental institutions) from the EU and Mediterranean countries. They will discuss themes and actions to be addressed by the ERANETMED 1st joint call for proposal and orient its scope in relation to the main societal challenges in the region.
More in general, the outcomes of the workshop will contribute to the Euro-Mediterranean policy dialogue and to a more stable and sustainable Euro-Mediterranean cooperation on research and innovation.
