The "Final Conference of the IWRM-net Scientific Coordination Project" will be held in Brussels, from October 21st to 22nd, 2014.
Context
From 2010 to 2014, six European research projects funded within the IWRM Net ERA-Net second call have investigated new solutions for integrated water resources management in Europe, under three main themes:
- Climate change and adaptation,
- Water scarcity and droughts
- Economics and social values for integrated water management.
Objectives of the Conference
The six projects have now come to a close! The final conference will bring opportunities for scientists, water managers, knowledge brokers and policy makers to:
- get the most out of these recent research results,
- exchange about their transfer to stakeholders and water managers in different European countries.
This event will be held in cooperation with the Water Joint Programming Initiative which will launch its first Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda in the morning of October 21st.
