MedSpring Open Consultation on Water-Energy-Food Nexus
The MedSpring EMEG (Euro-Mediterranean Expert Group) is working on the Water-Energy-Food (W-E-F) Nexus.
The Water-Energy-Food Nexus has emerged as a useful concept to describe and address the complex and interrelated nature of our global resource systems, on which we depend to achieve different social, economic and environmental goals. Nexus is the approach needed to pursue sustainable development via an integrated use of resources to satisfy basic needs on a global scale.

“MEDSPRING” (Mediterranean Science, Policy, Research and Innovation Gateway) is an EU funded project aiming at strengthening the Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation on Research and Innovation in key societal challenges: Resource Efficiency (particularly Water), High Quality Affordable Food and Energy.
In order to address the societal challenges of high quality affordable food, scarcity of resources and renewable energies in the Mediterranean region, the MED-SPRING project launched an on-line Open Consultation.
