The EIB has the pleasure to invite all interested civil society stakeholders to Luxembourg for a seminar between civil society and the Bank’s Board of Directors. Lors de la cérémonie de remise de la 2e édition des Etoiles de l'Europe le 16 décembre 2014, Geneviève Fioraso a insisté sur le rôle déterminant de la France dans la construction de l'Europe de la recherche.

A l’issue du Forum Horizon 2020 qui se tenait le 16 décembre au musée du quai Branly, Geneviève Fioraso, secrétaire d’Etat chargée de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche et Harlem Désir, secrétaire d'État aux Affaires européennes, ont remis  les trophées des Étoiles de l’Europe. Ces prix mettent en lumière des coordinateurs de projets et leurs équipes pour leur engagement européen et leur travail de mise en réseau.

Geneviève Fioraso a participé, vendredi 12 décembre, au Conseil bi-annuel des Ministres européens de l’éducation. Invitée par la Présidence italienne, elle a  présenteé à ses homologues européens les mesures mises en place par la France pour favoriser l’insertion professionnelle des jeunes par la formation et le développement de l’entreprenariat.

Geneviève Fioraso, secrétaire d’Etat chargée de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, est intervenue en ouverture du 5e Forum de la coopération franco-allemande en recherche, qui réunit, à Paris, près de 150 représentants allemands et français des mondes scientifique, économique et politique. Elle a souhaité que les coopérations franco-allemandes, déjà nombreuses, se poursuivent et se développent et a insisté sur l’importance de ce Forum qui permettra de poser un nouveau jalon dans l’engagement dans l’Europe de la recherche, pour affronter ensemble les défis inédits de ce siècle.

Grâce au programme Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW), des doctorants de la National Science Foundation (N.S.F.) américaine peuvent bénéficier des partenariats développés par la N.S.F. avec partenaires étrangers (le M.E.S.R. pour le programme GROW France) afin de développer des collaborations de recherche internationales.

Graduate Fellows can benefit from partnerships developed by N.S.F. with partner organizations in other countries (the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research for GROW France) to develop international research collaborations.

15 de diciembre de 2014 El Consejo Europeo de Investigación (ERC, en sus siglas en inglés) ha publicado los resultados de la primera convocatoria Starting Grant dentro del programa de investigación e innovación Horizonte 2020. España ha obtenido un total de 20 ayudas. Estos resultados mejoran considerablemente los obtenidos en 2013, especialmente en lo concerniente a la tasa de éxito, que pasa del 4,1% en 2013 al 7,8% en 2014, y en el número de proyectos financiados, ya que el año pasado España consiguió 14.

La convocatoria se aprobó mediante resolución de la Secretaría de Estado de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación, y se publicó en el Boletín Oficial del Estado del 30 de agosto de 2014, con un presupuesto de 8.756.100 euros para 94 contratos.
